New to me Tercel 4wd wagon

We had our one annual one week of winter here in western Oregon. The 4wd and AT tires came in handy!

Pretty bad-a! Do these have any usual issues?
Well the 63 horsepower can be a problem…. Lol
Parts scarcity can be an issue. You have to hunt and gather for stuff! They were designed for the snow as a family winter wagon so they are not as robust as a LC or 4Runner but they are light and under powered so it takes a bit to break them.

Rust is the main issue.
Gearbox needs respect but works very well.
Normally FWD and either a lever - or low 1st - activates 4WD.
The engine is not too powerful but as it weights not a lot does the job.

But they are a rare beast and thus parts are a challenge. Normal consumables aren't but it pays to hoard.
