How are you planning to do your 4x4 conversion for transfer case, axles, etc.? Using stock Toyota IFS, aftermarket, or straight axle?

Take lots of pictures during your build. I'm looking forward to seeing your build! Gotta love having the former truck payment to spend on mods! I'm not far from payoff & can't wait.

Welcome to the boards!!

My first Tacoma was a Prerunner, and like you, I went all over the place in it. A rear locker in a 2WD is pretty awesome! And a Line-X is a great investment -- you won't be let down. I look forward to seeing your build progress.

Both are important, the smart thing would be the body armor and a front locker along with the rear locker. Wheel around for a while then decide what types of wheeling you are all about, then base your lift off the experiences from previous trails.

Right now its good at the height it is...Just thinking with the arb it will sag much with all that weight up front!!! I bought an airlocker for the front just need the rest & find a good trans & transfercase.

I can build you a tube bumper thats a quater of the weight and just as strong and cheaper in price. I replaced my T-case with a non pushbutton all manual chain driven stock case of the same year that Marlin Crawler had sitting around from some other build for $250 that I've been wheelin hard with for the last 5 years, you should give them a call the have a stock pile of disgaurded T-cases for cheap.
