The older Ford's have a huge turning radius. When Ford went to coils and a control arm they knocked 5.5' off of any configuration. I've driven in to Baja with a '90 F-350 crewcab longbed and you've gotta really plan out those turns. I'd look into an aftermarket softride suspension too as it's slow going with the stock leafs.Pratty - was somewhat surprised to hear you mention your turning radius being a bit wide. Maybe the size of your tires or a suspension mod has something to do with it? I just know that that was one of the things I was very pleased with when I got my truck.
