We're excited to introduce our all-new Epic Recovery kit. It includes a full array of our premium Epic Accessories in a rugged, modular backpack for easy carrying. This durable backpack makes carrying your recovery gear much easier, especially on uneven terrain, and keeps both of your hands free. WARN is the only company offering a kit like this, and we're excited to debut it. Features include:

  • Two Epic Shackles
  • Epic Snatch Block
  • Epic Tree Trunk Protector
  • Premium Recovery Strap
  • Winching Gloves
  • Epic Backpack -- Pack also doubles as a winch line damper, has a MOLLE system for extra gear, modular interior dividers, and is weather resistant.

The are currently two kits available: Medium Duty, for 12,000 lb. capacity winches and under, and Heavy Duty, for winches with 18,000 lb. capacities and under. We also sell just the backpack if you've already got recovery gear, or you just want a great backpack.

Hey Andy, not sure if you have a line to engineering, but do you think you could enquire as to the feasibility of adding some extra length to the shackle pins (ALL of them, not just Epic) and drilling a hole so a lock can be inserted? I realize this would require new molds and casting, etc, but it just seems like a no-brainer and it would be a huge selling point (IMO) versus cheap versions.

So... it's functionally no different than standard shackles, strap, gloves, snatch block, and tree strap in a backpack except that the castings have places to collect mud that will be difficult to clean... powder-coated for economy instead of properly painted for durability... I appreciate design and aesthetics, but I just don't see that as necessary or worth extra money for something so viscerally utilitarian as straps and shackles.

I'm sure there's a pavement princess prima donna that'll love whipping those out for everyone to admire while they pull his shiny Chevy out the ditch, but not my cup of tea.

Passed this feedback on; thanks.

That's a good looking kit.

Appreciated!

Kits like these are the reason I go to Expo with a pocket full of cash and come home broke!
