Just thought it's time I said hello as well.

My day driver is a '90 HZJ73 RHD from Japan (sorry you don't see these much in the US) http://mariner.spaces.live.com (lots of pics here from many trips.

Planning a trip south this year to visit a few 4x4 shops on the way to checking out various SW Indian spots...Hopis, Anasazi, Zuni, Mogollon, Navajo, Apache, Blackfoot, Sioux, Cheroki, Comanche, Powhatan, Aztecs, etc. See the cliff dwellers, pueblos, adobes, terraced cliff/canyon communities, etc. If anyone knows of sites in the AZ, NV, NM, CO, etc. areas, please email me at alsenj@gmail.com.

Where is Horseshoe Canyon, Grand Gulch, Bonito Ruin-NM, Hogan SE UT?, Ruin Canyon, UT?

Nice rig, looks like you do some good traveling in it.

What has your experience been with your JDM Toyota? I have put some serious thought into purchasing an 80 series diesel. I don't know about the RHD thing... Please do tell...

Sorry I haven't been back to post and say thanks you to all you guys, my apologies!

Biggest reason is that trip never happened completely, had trani issues long story (will get to it on a build thread), now resolved and heading out in 4 days (Sept 9) for another marathon (2.5 months or so) trip to cover ground I didn't get to on that last trip and added a bunch more. Once I get back in late Nov. I will post some more about the trip (CO, UT, AZ, CA, NV and mainland MX :rockon: to Lake Chapala and back as well as the build on my 1990 Land Cruiser HZJ73.

Anyway gotta go and get ready...stay tuned...:lurk: :beer:
