Staples has these for 109.00 dollars. I want a smaller point and shoot and one that works on AA batteries .
Has anyone used one ? I have read a bunch of "reviews" and it seems that if you read the directions and are a fair picture raker it is good... othres complain that the pic are blurry...
much confusion:confused:

thanks for any input..

I have an old nikon coolpix L4 and I think it takes fine pictures. But I'm not really a camera nut.

No view finder only the lcd screen.

I like my DSLR Nikon D-40X but would like to have a small pocket size portable camera too.

16 Years on ExPo. Whoa!!
I've had coolpix in general (I go through about a point and shoot a year) and they are awful or at least 2-3 years ago they were with the biggest issue being slow processor speed. For a cheaper P&S by far the best is Canon period in my opinion. I use the A series for the same reason (takes AA) and I use recharagables which also work well. I have been using the A1000is since May and it's been great, I believe my third or fourth cheaper Canon P&S. Here is a photo from it from just a few days ago on a 1.5 second time delay:
