Gents,

I have an 2005 2WD Nismo crew cab cab with a flip pac and a lift. Love the combo and have started getting my self into more expo type off road situations.

Question us this: I want to make the switch to a 4WD model and don't know the difference between LE and SE models in used 4x4 models. Do they all have skid plates? Rear locker (best part of my Nismo) etc? I dont really care about trim levels and actually prefer the non painted bumpers.

Thanks for the help.

P.S. Any one selling a low mile 4x4 short bed crew cab 4x4 frontier?

I have a 2009 4x4 King Cab Pro-4X (current name for the Nismo).

The Nismo is the only one that comes with the factory skids and locker.

The biggest difference between the LE and SE are creature comforts. The LE is more of the 'luxury' edition, the SE is the 'standard' edition, while the XE is the base model 2wd 4-cylinder.

The LE Crew Cab will come with leather and a moon roof also. Honestly, if you're a now thrills kind of a guy an LE is a bit much.

But as stated, only NISMO/Pro-4X models will come with a locker and skid plates.

Most SE Frontiers didn't come with the utili-track. It was an option for the SE. Personally I would a Frontier without it.
