Nissan Frontier Suspension Help

Topgun, the OME setup will fit 265/75R16s without issue, even with a bumper. I haven't heard about UCA contact issues with the OME setup.

Here's my plan:
Full HD OME setup
PRG 1/2" front spacers
Rob a leaf out of my old pack OR add a 1"/1.5" shackle to retain a bit of rake.

With this setup, I should be able to get 2" front and back with bumpers, winch, and RTT. I might get a little coil bucket contact, but we shall see.

Is that coming up soon? Ill be very interested in seeing how it is.

Just learned in another thread that TJM's are likely sourced out of China. Which is an absolute no-go on my rig.

So, its either a OME which doesnt have enough lift, or big money on the big boy toys.

Just so you know The majority of ARB products sold in Australia are made there but their exported products are built in Thailand.

I posted this on Club Frontier a couple years age. I am still very happy with it

I had already installed OME 608 springs and Nitrocharger Sport shocks a couple of weeks ago. With 265/75 tires, the height at the fender lip went from 34.5 to 37 with the stock front bumper. After installation of the bumper and winch (WARN 26502 M8000 with Amsteel blue line), the height is now 36.5.

The weight of all the removed stock parts was 63.4 lbs. The Shrock bumper and components, winch, and lights weighed 225.6 so a net gain of 162.2 lbs.

I can tell there is more weight on the front but it really isn't too noticeable. I think the ride is considerably better than stock.

Thanks for this bob,

with my thought of not doing a winch and heavy bumper, I am deciding at the last minute to get the light duty 607 coils from OME.

Ordering tonight.

I have the same lift you're considering. If doing the bumper hd is totally recommended and I had the same loss of about .5 inch with the bumper winch combo. For what it's worth I would like to get maybe an inch more lift. But I'm gonna start with some 255s first.

OME is great riding and would go with the HD springs if you plan on the RTT, aftermarket upper arms aren't really needed unless you plan on doing alot of wheeling. Have a look at Boulder Ironworks, there a new Nissan Fab company based out of Colorado that is using aluminum for armour. I saw there aluminum roof racks and skids first hand and they are amazing quality. There products will be available through Nisstec by the sounds of it but I would contact them directly to see if they can do a Aluminum bumper.

I am not having any luck finding Boulder Ironworks, my googler must be broken, do you have a link?
