Nissan chose to not import those. To be fair, most folks here like larger SUVs with lots of creature comforts. That and modern or new designs. The Patrol likely didn't fit that bill. Not that I'm hating on Patrols - not at all.

X'terra is really nice truck...
I can't believe USA market was not filled with real Patrols.. Anybody knows why is that so?

America is scared of diesel and practicality. We also dont get Defenders, Hilux or any of the good land cruisers.

Well Look to good old California for the smog rules.. Thats why the US doesnt get any cool imported Diesels.

You are going to see Nissan start pushing the diesels with the next gen of trucks..

RTT

I installed the RTT from Tepui and took it on a couple trips. It's been really nice!

The RTT looks great. Did the mounting hardware work straight out of the box? I have been contemplating a RTT solo or with the bans expo rack.

Not with the Xterra's stock rack. I had to go to the hardware store for longer bolts and some larger pieces of steel plate.

"Yoda"

Hey all,

I have recently modified our roof rack to be mounted on our Pathy "Yoda" and as such, have been able to mount our CVT roof-top tent to it. I thought I'd post some photos of Yoda, flexing and practicing for our upcomming, late-summer jaunt to the Canadian rockies and then South to Arizona's Grand Canyon. (I hope to have photos of that trip up sometime in late September...

Ove the next couple of days, I will post a couple of photos of Yoda on our July 1st trip to the Stemwinder campgrounds between Princeton and Hedley, BC.

And yes, Yoda is Forest Green and needs shocks and struts...coming this July, probaly going with the A/C heavy-duty F&R kit to better handle the extra weight of the tent and camping equipment.

Beautiful Y61 gen II - isn't she?

Anyhow; why rims so small - You could easily put 35 inches for that high lift. And this should be still legal - where-ever You come from...

My name just became halfway irrelevant.

Just signed my life away on a 2012 Nissan Frontier SV. Crew cab, six-speed, 4x4. Waiting until after work tomorrow to go pick it up from the dealer. Pictures tomorrow, I'm just super-excited and must let someone know. I have a few from the dealer it's at, but I don't think those will give it due credit. I've got one more drive back and forth to work in the Cherokee, before she goes away for good. For a leaky, creaky, hot mess -- I sure did love it.

Welcome to the dark side :)

I have no complaints about my frontier

I've heard excellent things about them. I don't foresee much sleep tonight. Tomorrow at work is going to be awful!
