	I love all those diesels. Almost worth moving to South America or some such place just to be able to get a decent diesel.. I'd kill for a 4.0+ TDI in an Xterra with a drive train to match (dana 44's FRONT and rear.. ).
JP, that rig of yous is a "dream machine" to me.. (-:}

Only one I've personally seen:
1966 Patrol. A few "unique" characteristics....
I took off that hideous A-frame crane before towing it home, don't worry. May work well around the house for lifting crap though! Came with a Warn 8274. Couldn't turn down the asking price of $600. The way I look at it:
$300 for the warn
$300 for the rest of the pile of iron oxide!

.... :drool: :drool: :drool: :drool: Oh baby... SO HOT!!!!!!! I'm not a huge Nissan guy, but that generation of Patrols is just so amazing looking (and very well built, I know, too...)A few shots of my 1994 Nissan Patrol GQ. These were taken during a 10 day expedition in the Guajira desert, Colombia.

Heading to Punta Gallinas, Guajira
Colombia, South America

Taroa Dunes, Guajira

Macuira National Preserve, Guajira

Those (Patrols) are SO rare here it'd just kill me to see a bow-tie under the hood...
I say Cummins 4BT or a Mopar 318 if you really want a V8... Hell the old inline 6's are awsome in my book. Not fast by any means, but they're great off-road and reliable as for sure eh.
EDIT: Oh and you could always throw a Titan V8 or VQ V6 in there. That'd be awesome and very uinique. Also there's the SD33T Turbo Diersel that Nissan made that was available here in the Scout. RPM&O here on the boards has an awesome SD in his Patrol. Seems like an awesome motor with lotes of tuning potential. That'd be a sweet truck for sure if you kept it all Nissan.
I just realized that I used the word Awesome more times then shoudl be legal in one post... that's just... awesome
Cheers
Dave
