Nitto Exo Grappler AWT

Does anyone know anything about the Exo Grappler AWT? I saw an add for it in Four Wheeler magazine but I can't find it anywhere. It looks like a nice AT tire to compete with the GY Duratrac. It has a semi agressive AT tread, an aggressive looking 3 ply sidewalls, and it has the 3 peak mountain snowflake symbol for all weather driving. If this thing is made in a 255/85R16 it would be fantastic tire. But I can't find any info on it. Just the add in the magazine.

Looks like they will be releasing it in 8 sizes this July , supposed to have 3 ply sidewall. I wouldn't cross your fingers that it will be released in a 255/85/16. Most new tires are offering less and less options for the smaller diameter wheels

Do you have a link to the sizes coming? By the way, a 255/85R16 is a 33.3" tire. Not exactly a small diameter, but also a very rare tire... Oh wait you small wheels. I suppose by todays standards a 16" rim is small. Eitherway, I won't hold my breath for that size. It will still be an interesting tire to check out though.

Thanks for the links. I couldn't find anything when I looked. As I expected, no love for Jeep drivers in the sizing options. It seems everything is load range E these days.

Glad someone else asked this question. I have gone through a couple of sets of Nitto Terra Grapplers (two different vehicles) and the ones on my truck are due for replacement and like the OP, I saw the add and immediately looked to see what they were about. I hope my size 285/75R17 is released this fall. Don't get me wrong, I really like and have abused the Terra Grapplers with never a complaint or problem, but the new tire has my attention.

It's too bad it looks like they're all going to be load range E. I like what I see but that load range pretty much removes them from consideration for my next set of tires.

I called my local shop and asked about these tires. They had not heard of them (surprise, surprise) so I asked them to make some inquiries and get back to me. They called back about an hour later with news from their distributor that they will not be available here in Alaska till next year. I believe I will make some more inquiries elsewhere. I will buy some Duratrcs if this proves to be true, but I sure would like to give these a try if I can before the snow flies.

I'll be on the lookout for them as soon as they come out. Love the looks but I'm a bit disappointed in the load range E only.

I'm running Toyo AT IIs in 285/75-17 on my JKUR and they are awesome. Load range E is no problem. I run them at 28 psi for daily driving instead of the 37 psi for the stock BFG MTs. The E is no biggie and with a year and 20k on them they still look brand new!
