Tub is finished. Quick coat of primer to stop the rust.

Need some help on two things

1. I need to seal all the edges and paint over it. Was going to use a exterior calking but thought I should ask the pros first.

2. Paint. Need a color and a type I know nothing about what kinds of paint Works well where.

3. Hinges need 3 I think. Have 3.5 inches of square tube I can mount too. Thoughts?

4. Sheeting for lid. 16 Guage ?

Thanks in advance.

As for sealing....

You say "exterior caulking." I'm not sure exactly what you mean by that, but I would recommend automotive seam sealer, such as this:

I'm not sure which brand is best.

I was thinking exterior house. Didn't know automotive came in a tube. Thanks !

So I have primer on it now. Would por 15 be a good idea or is it too late for that

I recently bought this same trailer, found a good deal on CL. I'm trying to decide what to do next with it, don't plan for much off the pavement but would be nice for extra storage on our 5-6 trips a year to visit family. The expanded metal will be gone, would like to be able to fold down the tailgate. Yours looks really good.

Struts and wiring were completed last night along with final coat of paint.

waiting on the enamel to harden and then its mount latches and tent :)

currently looking at awning options.
