No Starter - No Problem

I've seen it done, but never done it. I'd have used the other vehicle in the background to pull the strap... It would have been easier.

I saw a video recently(here??) of a guy doing it with a lug wrench on the wheel. Once the vehicle started the wheel got to Mach one and launched the wrench, just about took his head off!

I just watched this video and I don't understand why they did use another video to pop the clutch.
 
I carry a spare starter. It was balky in 40+C summer temperatures. Ok now in 25C. It’s either the relay (mounted on the starter) or the solenoid.
Have to change it before putting it back on the boat.
A bit of a PITA to change.
