You totally inspired me. I just dropped my truck off at a metal fabricators here in Managua for the creation of a exo-skeleton rack like you have done. I even printed off photos from your posts to guide the lads in the shop...hope thats okay!

My personal mods will be it will have ladders on both sides right behind the second cabin doors, with lateral bars through the line of the windows for theft prevention (well there is no "prevention"....just an attempt to disuade...) & possible lashing points for surf boards/kayaks/ traction mats/ etc..and a safari basket on the roof with thule-like cross bars for kayaks. I am super excited for it...going to be an elevated sleeping nest, surf scouting platform and general crap store-er. All in, with custom sliders its going to cost me $400 USD installed. I LOVE it!

I will continue to follow along...keep up the good work!

Should get a expo t100 thread going. Im building a '98 surf expo t100 as well! Exo-cage inspired by your's as well. Killing it man

105aH on that battery, solarbro recommended an AGM due to how durable they are with vibration-resistance (hence why they are used for boats) and also how low the internal resistance is. The problem is they are expensive, got that one on sale for about $275.

For panels I am going with a single Renology 100W panel. Wiring it so the alternator charges it while I am driving as well. Since I only have an ARB fridge and a handful of LED lights I should have plenty of power if it is sunny.
