It would be like prepping a Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5 or Range Rover Sport
but it just looks....... Wrong.... To me anyway
REALLY? Looking through just this WK thread alone, there are some amazing builds on here.
I think the WK looks are massively improved when prepped for overland use. When we're out and about and see another WK, we think the standard WK looks really different.
I'll add some pics from my albums:
From our Jeep's second Iceland trip in August 2014:
1. National campsite in South Iceland, near Höfn.
2. Car park at Skógafoss waterfall.
I can't mention the waterfall without adding a pic, VERY windy, wind warnings in place, my daughters wouldn't get out of the Jeep it was so windy.
My wife being blown around.
3. Me filling up when this Icelandic monster pulls in:
4. Snæfellsjökull National Park:
5. West Fjords:
Traditional Icelandic cottage, sneaked a couple of pics while my wife was packing and I was checking the Jeep's levels.
In our opinion, the west fjords area of Iceland is the most beautiful and breathtaking, I have to post this pic:
Dynjandi waterfall, otherwise known as Fjallfoss, in our opinion, the most beautiful waterfall in Iceland:
Short 2 mile hike on path leading you past 7 other small falls:
View of the car park from the foot of the falls:
6. Hverir geothermal area.
Pics from Scotland trip February 2015, near Durness:
One of the best drives in the world according to the press, route from Durness to Ullapool.
Apologies for all of the pics, I got a little carried away.
