It’s not so much that it’s the damage done on the roads from slipping tires. It is funny to see people send it hard though- I got passed on a rough and I mean freaking rough road last week by a Chevy equinox. I was in 4lo crawling around getting my head booped around and this guy was riding my bumper. I pulled over at the next pullout and he took off like a rocket..😆Good! Those things don't have the articulation or ground clearance for rough trails. Nor do they have anything to hook to pull them out of whatever trouble they got in to.

Curious why this is in the EV section?
To be fair, why were you crawling in 4Lo on terrain that an Equniox could breeze through? Are you one of those guys that slows to 1 mph to turn into a gas station? It’s not so much that it’s the damage done on the roads from slipping tires. It was rough as hell- I can only imagine what the ride was like inside that equinox.🤷♂️😆To be fair, why were you crawling in 4Lo on terrain that an Equniox could breeze through? Are you one of those guys that slows to 1 mph to turn into a gas station?
lol, you never see videos of idiots in Jeeps. Case closed.Probably because they are about the worst as far as off-road ability and yet people take them on Jeep trails. Almost zero articulation. I've now watched several off-road recovery videos of electric trucks. Here's one, you'll see the Rivian high centered at about 3 minutes:
Seen several on the Tesla truck also. It does great on pavement but when the ground gets uneven forward progress stops...one front tire and the opposite rear tire just dangling in the air. Plus they are really heavy; can't really mount big flotation tires on them so they sink in mud or soft sand.
They have gotten annoying- and way too loud. I rented a rzr earlier this summer and hated it for 1 reason, the loud drone of the exhaust.SXS are what tears up trails.
Essentially class 5 buggies at this point. They have gotten annoying- and way too loud. I rented a rzr earlier this summer and hated it for 1 reason, the loud drone of the exhaust.
