I was looking into the o2 tanks for my livewell/bait tank for fishing. Those tanks in the pic as others have stated are for medical O2 so they have a different threading than standard o2 like you get for torches and such. The reason being they don't want you going to Praxair for your medical 02.
They make a converter regulator that is CGA540 or whatever std o2 is but they are pretty bulky and sometimes pricey. Of course this was back about 2yrs ago when I was looking, things may have changed.
My problem was I was looking for a pediatric valve that did fractional liters per hour. It was near impossible to find the right style valve so I could get the bottle refilled.
