These lights are Awesome! I got one in the mail yesterday and last night I went out into my drive way in the and even with a bright street light right there, it was casting so much light that when I faced it up into the tree next to my driveway it lit up the tree to about 12'! That is really awesome for a red LED. Plus they throw a really wide pattern so the coverage area is huge. I can't imagine how much light the 3watt version throws out it has to be rediculous.
SO I think I now have my plans for how many. 3 in the engine compartment one on eash side of the motor and one on the hood facing down. This will give me total illumination in the engine comaprtment. then 2 in the head liner on in the soon 2 be xcab section and then one directly above the stick shifter. Then I plan to put them in front of and behind each of the 4 tires for rock lights. for a total of 11 to do interior, motor, and rock. I will also add some to my storage boxes to light up insode the storage boxes once I get the new flat bed done and design the storage system.
Total cost will be $165.00 but that illuminates everything around and in the truck Well Iguess actually closer to $200 once I add in the switches, wire, connectors etc. But this will be worth every penny.
