enforcing the tongue with more cross member..

skin for the tongue... its thick enough to handle any loads. i believe it is a 16 gauge or may be 18 gauge not lesser than that

Home made 5 feet sheet metal bender and some brand new sheet metal for skinning the lid..

Hinge trial fit and adding more support to hold the hinges before i weld the skin to the lid

stitch welding the two parts of the lid skin and tacking them to the lid frame..
