Not sure if I have any pics but installing my snorkel on my Power Wagon was not pretty. The perfect hole I drilled with the 4" circular drill somehow was about 1/8" off. I tried forcing it but the elbow was pushing up against a metal mounting bar in the engine bay. It would not go no matter what. I tried to "enlarge the hole" with a sawzall. Which quickly turned my sheet metal into a giant mess. Not sure what I was thinking there. Eventually I got it all patched up. You can't even tell now.

And remember when you measured wrong while installing your sink drain line,
and mistakenly drilled a hole into one of your solar batteries and the acid ran down
your arm and up your shirt?

Oh wait, that was me.......

I was considering doing the same... Adding a second tank... Do you think there was a better method? I would prefer more than 30 or so gallons in an e350..

I'd recommend a quality brass manual valve from your local marine store. Not as convenient as an electric valve, but less to
Fail. Mine is concealed on my 4x4. IT has 4 positions... 1 for each tank, and two off. It works as a fuel Shut off also.

OH and to add to the thread, my biggest mistake was buying a van that was done by Advanced out of Utah and not knowing enough about 4x4 vans at the time to realize what I was getting myself into.

1. My biggest mistake by far was buying a diesel van when I had no clue about diesels. One cylinder was not firing and washed out that cylinder. Filled the crankcase up with about 10 quarts of diesel, on top of the 14 qts of oil. Can you say liftoff? $8k later and I have a nice running engine. I don't even remember how I paid for it all. I will say this though, a 7.3 turbo runaway is pretty exciting. I pretty much shut down the Glen highway for about 10 minutes with all the smoke. It reminded me of Space Shuttle launches...

2. Gutting all the plastics and tossing the rear seats from the interior to make it a work van. I had no idea how hard it would be to find EB trim parts in good condition. Now I have to figure out how to make interior panels and re-trim it myself.

Live and learn.

And the backup camera still works! It's in the body shop already. I'm having an 06 hood put on it while it's there. (02 van)
