Cash from AEV stopped by and updated our staff on all things AEV including the new RAM lineup! We are currently booking RAM builds in house and as always we are offering AEV products on our web store with free shipping. :coffeedrink:

Subscribed! I'm a huge fan of the new Ram Trucks and the AEV parts make a cool truck even cooler. Can't wait to see how this thing progresses...definitely something to aspire to waaaay down the road.

That truck is what dreams are made of. The Salta wheels look better on a truck than I expected. Still like the Katla better though.

Your RAM looks great too. A low luster black ST/Tradesman grill may have looked a bit more fitting with the low luster AEV goodies.

Enjoy Expo! This is will be the first in 4 years I won’t be attending. Have a save drive

We may have ordered another grill already... :) haha for once the less expensive option was the better option

Nice work Rin, truck is going to be great once its done.

On the Raised Air Intake/Snorkel, just wanted to quickly make sure everybody understood a few key points.
  • We called it a Raised Air Intake and not a snorkel because of the Active Air system on the new 6.7L Diesels which isn't exactly fully sealed from the factory (close though). The Ram will go through 99% of its life breathing through the fender and not the Active Air portion of the airbox, so for filtration/clean air/most water crossings, the Raised Air Intake works fantastic. For really deep extended water use you would need to seal up the front of the air box negating the Active Air which might work if you don't tow heavy in hot ambient temps but it was something we felt the few customers who need that sort of water protection will do by themselves. Maybe a piece of foam could be made up into a temporary plug, not sure, but you would have to seal some parts of the stock air box regardless.
  • On the gas and 3.0L versions, its more of a true snorkel since its all sealed up well and there is no active air. A little sealant and voila.

I am looking forward to seeing this in person this weekend at the Overland Expo. Its something I was not aware of that will be a consideration.

Some updated shots of the RAM with Mopar powerwagon fender flares, wrapped black door handles and custom RhinoRack Pioneer platform with James Baroud awning! We are getting pretty stoked about this build. Next step will be adding some lighting to the front and rear end.

bump for updates

Are the wheels on the red truck made in house or for you guys?

Cast, Flow Formed or truly Forged?

Truck looks great, but the white flat bed on 40's with the huge fender flares is my favourite.
