not sure if it still relevant but - you can use the Slee Assesory tray to mount anything that will fit. Really even the passenger side front where the 2nd battery goes is big enough for some compressors.
Not sure if an Oasis will fit...

Really wish there was a way to do a belt driven compressor... but there isn't.

Been running the napa dual head compressor. Not ‘on board’, but it was $120 and takes a 33” tire from 18 to 45 psi in about a minute. Very fast. ARBs seem very slow and way overpriced by comparison.

This might not be the right place but I am wondering if anyone can help re an ARB twin install. Are there required clearances (air space etc) for the fan or filter sides?

Ideally I’d like to mount it flat in a battery tray but it’s tight on those side.

to follow up from a long ago post of mine, i ended up buying a milwaukee m18 compressor. it's super fast, has milwaukee build quality and reliability, and is compact.

it's a plus too since i already use milwaukee tools and have batteries galore.

two thumbs way up.

Super Fast? Its rated at 1.4 cfm at 0 psi (and a 33% duty cycle). They don't even provide a spec at any actual pressure (never a good sign). I'm not sure what you are comparing it to, but that is no better than the majority of discount store cigarette lighter plug pumps in my book..

ARB Twin - 6.1 CFM at 0 psi, 4.7 cfm at 29 psi
Morrflat Ten Six - 10.6 CFM at 0 psi, Twin 6.5 cfm at 0 psi, 4.7 cfm at 30 psi
NAPA Twin - 10.6 CFM at 0 psi
Puma 3/4 hp referenced above - 1.9 CFM at 90 PSI

If it works for you great, but don't want anyone reading this to be mislead that such a compressor is fast..

I can air 4x tires up from 20psi to 40 in 7-8mins. For me that far exceeds the standard of adequacy. And I didn't need to spend $500+ and mount anything in my engine bay. And Milwaukee builds it. I suppose "super fast" is relatively subjective, but you or anyone else can go poke around on YT or test it yourself. It works well, it didn't break the bank, and anyone can get one and use one.

Personally I have a hard time believing, based on the specs, that it can take a 35" or even 33" tire from 20-40 psi in that time, much less all four. Is that something you timed, or your guestimate?

For reference, here is a video review for MorrFlate, but the relevant part is the test using an ARB twin (roughly 4.5 times the CFM output at 0 psi as the Milwaukee) to take four (what look to be about 33") tires from 20 to 42 psi. It takes just over 10 minutes. Heck, it takes him nearly 5 minutes to air down with the valve cores removed. So you can see why your 7-8 minute figure is hard to believe.

But like I said, if it works for you, great.
