...Ummmmm - well I didn't even pay $0.01 for mine. It was about to get thrown away, and I intercepted it.

I would not pay $500 for it simply because of how much it weighs when full of tools. This particular tool set is what I keep in my garage. It's great for that! IMO, the way I have my tools organized in my truck for trail use is way better than lugging that big heavy cool looking kit around.

SAR_Squid79, you are not kidding these are heavy.

The shipping pretty much kill the deal instantly. Here is the response I got back from one of the shipping company list on their site. In short, $189 + $79 = $269. :Wow1:

===========================================================
Our estimate of $189.90 includes shipping preparation, transportation and fuel surcharge to a commercial address or picked up at the carriers local terminal. Shipments destined to a residential address exceeding 100 lbs may be subject to an additional fee of $79.00. Shipments requiring liftgate service for delivery will be assessed an additional charge of $90.00. Estimate will remain in effect for 14 days after receipt.

******The charges for your shipment are based on 150 Lbs. ******

One other thing: The tools are most likely all standard. I have yet to find a metric fastener on a US military airplane. I did, however, get out in '94 so things may have changed, but I doubt it.
