Our new 4x4 Labs rear bumper!!

Some of you may have seen my front bumper at Overland Expo...

Well. Last week we picked up our custon rear bumper and I could not be happier with it. This bumper is a modified version of the 80 series bumper 4x4 Labs makes. I wanted a little less weight in the rear of the vehicle because all our gear and the drawer system is already placing a nice load on the rear OME's.

Here are the pics:

The finished product with a 2 jerry can carrier, tire mount and Hi-Lift mount. Cans and hi-lift are for poser pic, borrowed from the shop.

If you want more details please ask, I would be happy to post more pics. We are on the road at the moment so please bear with my sporadic posts.

Cheers.

Are you guys going to stop in Prescott, now that you are in AZ? We would love to host you, hook you up with a few goodies and share a few beers.

Sweet - is the jerry can holder just bolt on to the swing out? Reason for the question is that if I 'ever' get the DS swingout for my Kaymar the first thing I wanted to do was have the single jerry can carrier off and have a 2-3 can carrier fabed. This maybe an option.

Glad to see one on a 60. I have one for my 80 and I love it.

Brent, the jerry can holders are bolt-on, and Luke (4x4 Labs) makes both a double- and a triple-can holder. Mine bolts on to my ladder, and removes in a few minutes when not in use.

I was wondering why the carrier was so high up off the bumper. That explains it.

Are the 4x4 Labs bumpers only "custom" for the FJ60? Or, is this something that they will be building and stocking?

That is a killer bumper!

I would like to see how that system works.. To not hi-jack, could you PM me a link to some photos if you have any?

Thanks

Jason
