Congrats, great setup. This is pretty close to what I have been contemplating in the near future for tooling around a lot of the places I want to see in NA while living out of the vehicle. Curious to see your bike solutions as that is a concern for me too as well as a canoe or perhaps a sea kayak. As much as I love my current setups I feel there is no comparison for a condo on wheels like that when living day in and day out in variable weatherlp. Let's see some of those interior shots!

yes, and I also need to find a way to put the surfboard. The roof is very tall, I am not sure I can climb up there easily everytime. But I guess I have no choice for the board.

I think I have seen bike racks attached the rear ladder. The hitch is another possibility, the truck came with this mega-sturdy double-level hitch carrier extension.

Wow! I just found out you guys got this beast...

I spent a month and a half using a Bigfoot as my home and thought it was an awesome set up. Huge (inside and out) and very comfortable.

Congratulations and I hope you and Persephone enjoy the h*ll out of it!

I finally have a few pictures for you...please be patient, this is going to be a long process. I will try to add images regularly.

My goal is to document as much as possible on this camper as I had a hard time finding good pictures and information on the Web on the Bigfoot.

So let's start with the most important...the fridge.

I don't know if the cabinets are made of real wood or some sort of composite - I am not super excited about the "grandpa" look but they really are of high quality.

This model comes with a double sink.

There is a large skylight right above from the galley - unfortunately it does not open.

I love Big Foot camper but although the basement storage is nice, the increase in overall height and center of gravity are a big draw back off road.

I agree. I initially wanted a 1500 Serie with no basement, but this good was way too good to pass. But I may switch later.
 
I have enjoyed the Thule, Hitch mount MTB rack for about 6 months now. It swings out away from the door on my camper. I have to use a hitch extender. It is pretty stout, but with that comes more weight. Overall, not too shabby

re roof storage and bike rack:
the ladder is not well secured enough to load up w/ anything more than a couple of chairs IMO (esp on washboard roads).
Better idea is to get a full width roof rack w/ radius feet (to match the edge curve of the TC roof) thru mounted and placed near the rear edge of the roof. Then you can get a roller to help load the kayaks, a top point to attach a heavier duty ladder (capable of carrying bikes) and great way to store misc stuff and mount solar panels.

After the Expo, I had to fly down/drive to Costa Rica and Panama.
I was looking for a place to store the truck in Las Vegas but a combination of luck/timing and friendship create an opportunity for Chris Scott (yep, the famous Overlanding writer....) to use it for a few days as he was visiting Utah.

I had a great week in that bus - thanks Christian - but you gotta get rid of that tow hitch or put a wheel on it!
