Again we'll have an adventure vicariously. First it was the Rallye de Tunisie, then it was Dakar, and now the OUTBACK CHALLENGE. I'm having so much fun that I'm in danger of carpal tunnel syndrome.

I sure hope the coffee-cup holder is gimbeled in the LC.

Ok, preparation is coming to a feverish peak here, and final packing is tomorrow activity.

I have also begun final nav testing, and am working with OZ Explorer. I intend to start a new thread on this tonight, and tap the experience of those better versed than I will this application.

I leave for San Diego on Monday morning for a conference and then fly to Paris on Thursday AM from Phoenix.

Each route represents a days challenge. Many of the days are entirely in the dunes.

Looks like you have quite a list going to put up a good :sport_box Your list is outstanding!

I am sure you guys have though of this, but IMO you might want to bring some duct tape or x-tape to your list, along with hose clamps. When I raced Legends and Modifies, hose clamps can make or break you especially if the hoses are already clamped with the non-screwing (crimp) type. Also tube inserts with the clamps make for quick repairs.

Best of luck! We'll be routing for you, and know you guys will give it your all!
