Outpost Truck Campers

I just bought a Tremor. Did you do any suspension mods for this camper?
Sorry I didn’t see your post

The only suspension addition I did were the super spring equivalent of upper stable loads that engage the overload springs. With this camper they don’t engage much.

For the most part the truck handles the camper great. I might eventually upgrade the leaf packs and shocks.

Skinhyfish, you have my goal set up! Exactly what I was thinking of doing.

I just wonder whether it would be better to go even a bit smaller. Like mounted on an F150 with the highest possible payload set up. Or would the off-road mobility advantage that comes from the smaller size of the F150 be outweighed by the payload advantage of the F250. I currently have Nissan Frontier with an OVRLND pop-upmcamper that I have built-out in a very payload-conscious way, and am looking to go a bit more comfort, while still trying to be as nimble as possible. Parking lot camping at ski resorts in CO and across the mountain west; trips into the backwoods backroads in the summer, for fishing and camp8ng and backpacking. What do you think?
