Is there ground fall we can burn, or will we have to bring wood for sure? I maybe be able to scrounge up something other than the Cirkle K match sticks they sell, let me know.
I recall that there wasn't much for decent wood around - it's alot of scrubby mesquite and prickly pear. I've got a pile of wood out back, so I'll bring a little. Perhaps it'll be enough. Care to supplement with a bag of sticks from Sac-o-Suds?

That's right . . . if you're following Brooke, watch for trenches. Ask KC.

I'll try to bring a bundle a well, but truthfully don't know how loaded up the truck will be so my TRY is not a guarantee.

I know, this trip for me is a bunch of might, maybe, might, I'll try's, but it's at least a go (and hopefully a stay the night without a 5 or almost 3-year-old freak out).

I plan on a few of these  at the campfire, or maybe just a warm stove if we don't have wood, for sure ...

Okay, you get a free pass since you're already making a big step. I'm stoked to meet your girls, as is Brooke. Samantha, who is a whoppin' 4, will be there too. I suspect they'll be tearing it up, roasting marshmellows, and having a bunch of fun. A fire is a must for the little punkitas, so as the guy "holding the pistols" I'll be sure to have plenty of wood.

Sounds good Mark, I'll grab some wood, between the 2 of us, it should be enough for all the marshmellows and beer to be consumed in one night.

Thread explosion

Man, I stop lurking for 2 days and there's a tone of activity here...

Jeff- As my kid brother said earlier, Samantha is 4 and loves new friends with marshmellows.

Count'n the final days!

Hopefully Samantha will enjoy the desert a little more than the snow (I absolutely love this picture).

Baja--yes, I have lightroom on my desktop.

Load 'em up!

Yep... You know Mark. He has the golden touch when it comes to capturing a moment on film. Since we're here, try another one taken at our proposed campsite. Samantha is a sucker for Uncle Mark's Campin' Pancakes! :chowtime: :chowtime:

We're pumped for Saturday morning!
