Beautiful little lake outside of Jasper...

Hey if you get a chance take your boat on up to the Green River Lakes outside Pinedale, Wyoming. It is a really beautiful area in the Wind River Range, nice paddeling and fishing. If you do go don't be shy and explore, there is more to see up there than just the one lake! ;)

Got a chance to Paddle with Jim (1Speed) and his wife here in Cedar Key

We had a few dolphins join us who were more interested in us than we were in them

Then we had a friendly flock of Pelicans do a fly-by at a really close range

It was a great day on the water

Location: Estero Bay, Fort Myers Beach, FL, Gulf of Mexico

headed out mid morning in hopes of snagging a jack, snapper, or snook. those hopes were quickly dashed by terrible fishing (talked to 4 other anglers on the water and no one was catching a thing: live bait, dead bait, plugs, it didnt matter lol). so i ended up paddling from Lover's Key State park to big carlos pass and back.

while on the water I ran into schools of mullet numbering in the hundreds. A bottle-nosed dolphin showed up to teach me how to hunt them properly. the lone flipper decided to stay within 100ft of the boat for half hour and at times was as close as 6 feet. we were both in about 2 feet of water.

i apologize for the terrible photoquality, i took my ancient point and shoot with me and left the DSLR at home. lol

Not quite "paddling" like most would think, but I call it paddling.
Somewhere between Catalina Island and Manhattan Beach...

Old pics of some creaking near Los Angeles, Piru Creek, Big Tujunga Narrows, Sespe Creek etc...

The quality is horrible on these pictures but you get an idea of the kind of fun you can have less than an hour from Los Angeles.
