I envy your real winters...

Our winter usually is wet, windy, cold and grey.
Just as New Year, the wind got strong in the evening and when we were leaving the windcover of the bay.
The temperature droped at night (so sleeping was cold) just to start the next day again with 0°C and rain...though that rain decided to become real snow later the day....so everything is white now (for the moment....)

We live in paddling paradies. The west coast of Canada, Vancouver Island.
we want to go paddling there very badly...but did´t manage yet, though we already had been into detailed planing twice.
Maybe we change the plan and come without our boat and even for a short time. So we might manage to visit a few spots with a hired kajak at least...

You havent heard of Georgian Bay in Ontario....the Mink/McCoy Islands and the Philip Edward Island ..paddling paradise east side of Canada's great lakes.
