I'm not sure if I posted any of the pictures I took during my pack raft trip down Labyrinth Canyon on the Green River a few summers ago. I spent 5 days, could have used another 5.

OK...I'll stay here then.
How did you make the rod holder?
Wonder if it would fit on my Solstice...

nice rig and boats :D

im pretty sure it would fit. the base is just held on with 4 bolts drilled into the hull. i found it at Canadian tire, i have also seen them at bass pro and other sporting shops. added one on the right too. the rod holder pops off for the base when transporting the boat...no worries about it getting ripped off by the overhanging trees on the trail.

Thanks I'll try that lots of Cantire around here.
I see your signature includes a exp trailer - how is it coming along? Built one last year, it is hidden by the truck no RTT but rack for kayaks.

We just got into kayaking this past summer but we have really enjoyed it so far. My son even saved up his pet sitting money to get his own kayak. Granted it's only a $300 swifty kayak but he is very proud of it. Another plus is that he'll be growing for the next several years so his investment is fairly minimal. We now have 5 kayaks and it has become a family affair also with my older son and wife. I was hoping to learn to roll kayak this winter in an indoor pool this winter but I had emergency back surgery in late October. I will probably have to wait to learn to roll until next year.
