Not sure how I missed these pictures. This is where I'm from (still have family in the area). Seeing these pictures makes me really miss that beautiful water.

Co-opski I love your pics in this thread. The one a few pages back with the lady's in the canoe on that surreal green water is priceless! Some great stuff in your latest post as well.
Did you build the stripper and the CLC yak?

Thanks for the kind words. No I didn't build them, I'm more of a paddler that loves the feel of wood. I've been a wood worker for years and still have fun with it, but I live in a little cabin without a shop, so building one is just too much work. The canoe was built by a Jerry Mortenson of Osseo MN it came to Alaska via a park ranger at Katmai NP. I've refinished it twice since I've owned it, I also restored a tandem 22 foot cedar strip kayak and have helped many of my friends with their wood boats, like the CLC kayak and the drift boat. Let’s just say I'm good at sanding and fiber glassing and epoxy now.
