Parts list,

Observer
OK guys, I am putting together a parts list for my aluminum Gladiator camper. It will be 3/16” aluminum plate seal welded with TIG.

Question is, What insulation should I use for the inside? I am considering the Blue home insulation you can pick up at lowes. Any thoughts?

Here are some of the parts I am considering.

I would suggest you buy the door directly from Vintage Technologies (that's the eBay seller with the door) so you can order the proper depth trim ring based on your wall thickness.

The window doesn't mention an internal trim ring so again, I'd got with VT. They are a good family run business.

I have built my own doors. With the hardware and window, they were still close to $200 apiece and a lot of work.

And yes, you need to insulate your box or moisture will condensate like crazy inside.

What insulation are you using? I am assuming some sort of closed cell?

That's 2" XPS foam board. For the walls and floor, I used 3/4" polyisocyanurate. I used the poly because that's the only 3/4" foam board I could find and was damn happy to find it.
