Every group ride has a hobo. They're like a synthetic man on a spaceship, but for overlanders.

-they can always find a camp site anywhere you're not supposed to camp
-they always find a pond, river, city park fountain, to bathe in
-never complain about shaking the majik winch chicken
-bears are never a problem, because they always find the hobos Gatoraide bottle before anything else. And get completely drunk off of the contents.

The open top jeep gets the hobo. No debate.
