My friend Wayne Percival of Dixon, CA - who built my trailer - offers quality off-road utility trailers that start below $1600 complete. Custom jobs up to special purpose work trailers can be done at reasonable prices.

I post this because many people have asked me who built my trailer, and because Wayne is a friend and AutoHome dealer.

I like the tubs!....Those bling bling rims on his website gotta go!....:Mechanic:

Other than that......That would make for a great platform!

Nice trailer!

The newer website is much better than his last one.. The trailers look great,, but the wheels in the pictures really take away from the look.. I'd suggest taking a couple pics with smaller tires and big mud tires too to show the difference..
Do they weld the cargo box onto the frame? or is it bolt on? Also since you have a tailgate model,, does it still float with the gate?? and for how long?

Is the pricing still the same as shown on the website? I might be wrong, but it looks like the last time the website was updated was in 2006. It looks like a nice enough rig for the price, but like the others have said those wheels have got to go. Then again he might be marketing to the Hollywood crowd that takes perfectly good Jeeps and adds 20"+ wheels and then go cruising the blacktop. In that case he needs to raise his prices. :gunt:

Wheels and deals...

The wheels and tires are customer's choice, IIRC, and are not included in the price quoted.

The tubs are full water tight welded, with a bottom skirt piece that fits perfectly over the square tubing frame and secured with stainless bolts and nuts.

Wayne does not tell you that the float works once the tailgate is added.

Nice stout well built trailer. Wayne will also build your design, as he did for me.

The wheels are 100 series(or possibly new Tundra) 5 lug wheels. Not much choice there in aftermarket options. I guess the customer has a 100 and wants matched wheels on the trailed.

I figured it wouldn't be sealed with a gate but was curious bout that. Looks like a great trailer. If I wasn't building my own I'd probably pick one of his up.. Does his lunette rotate?
Thanks,
Steve

The trailer connected to the medium-duty overland truck in the recent Overland Journal was made by Percival Fabrication.
