so I went for a little walk today, after a 1 hr into the hike and a snow storm hi me, 1 hr walking in the snow to get to my truck.

They are OK, but I wont buy them again. I may have spent more on my Xtreme MT's but I know why. You really get what you pay for, but when funds are low they get you through. They do everything ok, but nothing great. They are so loud that I can;t stand them and nearly every passenger has commented on it. The loud is not volume, but frequency. They have an annoying buxx that gives you a headache and is like an alarm clock. The other sizes of guard dogs I have rode in do not have the same issue, but these 315's are hopefully getting replaced soon.

Yeah, the humm sounds like it's right at 2kHz at, what? 45-55mph?, so it seems to our ears a lot louder than it otherwise would, and is more annoying than it would be at another frequency.

It starts about 30 mph and never goes away. You kinda get used to it, but interstate with windows down is miserable.
