2018 Dodge Journey GT AWD. Usually loaded with hitch mount cargo and roof bag or kayak/canoe. Family camping gear and fly rod(s) on the inside. Any good gear storage or ceiling mount fly rod holder ideas??? Right now rods held up high via bungees would like a more stable permanent/semi-permanent solution.

Went on a 5-day cow elk hunt in Utah. The truck handled the drive with ease. It was completely filled with my gear and my friend's gear. It was so full we had to pack his tent on the roof rack. The new fridge worked great although I learned something I wish I had known before: it draws less power if you use the DC plug rather than the AC plug. Oh well.

Went hot tent camping in the Rocky Mountains between Jasper and Banff. This was my view upon opening our tent

I am in the final stages of converting a 2011 Ford Ranger into an off road vehicle. It still needs a front skid plate (below bumper) and rock sliders (on order and hopefully on the way soon). Fender flares would be nice as well.

Vehicle:

• 2011 Ford Ranger XLT (125K miles)
• 4.0 L V6 engine
• Manual Transmission ... 3.7(?) rear differential
• "Supercab" .. extended Cab

Upgrades:

• Front lift keys to get 2-3 inches lift
• New shocks front and back
• Rear lift with add a leaf spring
• New front bumper (3 pieces)
• New front winch
• making a custom receiver hitch spare tire carrier
• 1 1/2 wheel extenders
• Tires: LT285 /70 R17 BFGoodrich MUD TERRAIN T/A KM3 (effectively 33's)
• Rims: 5-114.30 0 BKMTXX VIS MANX (zero offset)
• Rack
• Rooftop tent
• sprayed bed liner onto bed of pickup
• tool chest bolted to front of bed for locked storage

My adventures last December up in the Cascades on a logging road. It's a stock Colorado ZR2 Bison. Only thing added after these pictures is a CBI Overland bed rack and a Roofnest Condor XL RTT. It's a work in progress. But these shots are my favorite.
