I brought mine to Boeing today to let several try out.
They like it!

One of our carpenters is 320 lb or so, I had to deny him access to it :sombrero:

One thing I am surprized at is how when folded the handle material (back of chair) only snaps to one side of the folded package so when you pick it up the handle is at a bit of an angle. One additional snap on the other side would provide a more comfortable and secure cary handle.

I agree, maybe the next gen will have it?
I mentioned this at work after reading your post, and it would have been pretty easy for GCI to add a second strap.

I have mentioned this to them as well. The next batch should have better packing, and possibly these small changes, typically the changes are at the beginning of the year.

Sounds good Wil.

I like the light weight of it.
I will be carrying this a few blocks July 4th at dusk to enjoy the local show.
The Muckleshoot Indians down the road sell all the illegal type of fireworks from their 30+ shacks or so they have setup.

They put on one heck of a show for the 4th.
Heck, they have been doing it as well on Friday and Saturday nights since they can legally sell the stuff Memorial Day weekend.
It is like a warzone here.

Thanks Wil.

Dagnabbit!
Today was a warm day at work, and instead of eating lunch at the computer, I decided to sit under the shade tree behind my FJ.
I still had the chair in my rig on the front seat.
It really is very compact, much like having a laptop case on your seat.

I was kicked back with my Outback Trading Willis Breezer hat on, and a few commented on the nice chair and wanted to see it.

What I said to them:
Sure, I can show you how it sets up and takes down, and you can buy them from Wil :D

What I really wanted to say:
Go away, can you not see I am trying to take a nap here :sombrero:

I find that I can lean back in it too and get the front slightly off the ground.
I did not want to lean to far back though, to many folk's out walking during lunch, and I did not want to become a spectacle if I ended up flat on my back.
Very comfortable though...

Love having fun 😊 in the 🌞 by the ⛵ and the ⏳
Had a chance to test one of these while camping/trailing with targa88 last month in Moab. Saw them in our new Bass Pro shop (1st in Kanukistan) for $39.99 + GST (all Kanuk buks too!). Great buy, great chair!

These are indeed the same as the Front Runner chairs.

The free shipping on the Xpress chairs will end at the end of this month.

Time to whip out the Xpress Lounger again.
This past week we have had record temps in the low to mid 90s (cooling down to 81°.

At work during lunch instead of eating in the lunchroom with a few from our group, I like to hang out underneath a tree behind my rig when it is 80° to 90° and above.
Usually with the higher temps a breeze of 5 to 10 MPH will be going too, and it is quite pleasant to sit there.

I usually get a few fellow employee's asking me about the Xpress Lounger but also about my rig.

They are pretty impressed when I demo the chair as in setup/break down of it and let them test it out.

Like posted before, just when I am falling asleep someone will ask me about the chair.
Yesterday though someone wanted to talk snorkels with me :D

Wil, I have not checked out the newest chairs yet, did they ever incorporate a second snap for on top when you carry the chair?

Nope, they now are only Velcro on the one side, which seems to work better than the snap, IMO.

Thanks, will probably order another one before to long.
I like how little space they take up in the rig.

Now if only my huge Cabelas Lounger you can sleep in would fold down like this chair.

WE purchased 4 of these for the whole family and they are the bomb, we got ours from S.E. at the Overland Expo. But very shortly after returning home for the event we were in Home Depot getting a few things and believe it or not, they are selling them there as well and for only $29.99:Wow1:

Now we got a good deal :wings: but at that price we could have gotten a fifth for free:(, sort of a bummer, but that's the way it goes. I never thought Home Depot would have something like this, and this brand too, not some cheap knock off, the real deal!!! I've turned several friends locally onto them and they all purchased them at the $29.99

Wherever you decide to get them from and again S.E. took great care of us:victory:, these chairs rock, the only thing I think that needs to be addressed or added, is when your sitting a little on an angel, lets say the back of the chair is lower then the front, not by much, they can be a little tippy, but with a little additional tube, very short, added on the rear (which doesn't stop the ease of them from folding up, bla bla bla) it totally make them rock solid. Know this is all because my kids have had a few issues with falling backwards, but there little kids, I've not had any issues but could see how it happens. Mom and I love the fact that the back allows you to lean way back a stretch out after a long day on the trail or road!!!
Cheers All,
