The HID lights are all you really need for the street. Driving at night in Mexico, in the dirt, down a road you've never seen before...no such thing as too much light.

I've also found that you never really get used to bad lighting. But you will get used to good lighting quickly and still want more. I do anyway.

Really good, even at high speeds!
I am planning to add a set of Rigid Dually spots to the cowl area for additional distance. Not sure this is even necessary as I wasn't struggling to see.
