Before and after. I have said it before, I love vans, but in stock trim they are boring and look like they are on a church outing. A little lift, a bigger tire and they become much more large and in charge, look like Im going camping. I just bought 2 1996 G30 fleet vans out of AZ, one has only 33K and the other 64K orig miles. I like the old school look, chrome door handles inside with perfect dark blue factory cloth/vinyl, a modern FI V8, overdrive drivetrain underneath and thus the ability to roll down the highway at 70mph.

Would make a killer overland camper rig

We buy and sell service trucks but of course I'm always hunting in the back for the vans. I think this is a super interesting rig, has Layton insulated body with like a 6.8 tall ceiling inside, has a built in 5500W Onan generator with remote interior start, roof top AC, cabinets with tons of storage on both walls and a lot of outlets inside. Under the hood is a 5.4 V8, 96K miles, 235/85/16 tires which I have been wondering about fit as they are much taller than stock but so far do not appear to rub or create any issues. This is begging to be made into a 1-2 person back woods camper conversion, would be so easy as all the hard work is done. I've been watching for bodies like this ever since reading about the Betty White van here.

Just picked this up. 1997 E350 based ambulance with 7.3 and 135k miles. Will be building into a mobile office / production studio / camper for when I travel around the country. First trip planned for June heading from SoCal to Michigan to Florida and back.

Are you traveling through NM right now? I swear I saw that ambo in the past few days in Albuquerque, or it's twin sister. Nice rig, love the double barn doors.

Thank you sir! Here's a few more from my soon to be ended trip (currently parked in Bend OR for the night)...

Lost in the desert somewhere in Nevada. Who needs a road ;)
Interestingly, there were a few other rigs also parked in the middle of nowhere. Guess I wasn't the only one attracted by free camp site...
