Thank you sir! Here's a few more from my soon to be ended trip (currently parked in Bend OR for the night)...

Lost in the desert somewhere in Nevada. Who needs a road ;)
Interestingly, there were a few other rigs also parked in the middle of nowhere. Guess I wasn't the only one attracted by free camp site...

This is the 8th van that Ive built. Went simple rather than elaborate this time. Going to live out of it this summer while working in Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Tough life I know.

So awesome! Great pics, one of my favorite rigs on this site, was an inspiration to me in searching for (and now in building out) my Tortuga bus.

G30 Retired Air Firce Van tranformation into Outdoor TV Production Truck

So I have been looking for a truck to be able to work out of and to be able to take on the road and create multi-camera productions. The G30 Box showed up in a junk yard after the motor had been pulled. We put a 350 Jasper motor in it and a PCS electric shift kit to get the transmission and motor to work correctly. It had a plywood floor put in it already and a AC unit on top. We installed a 2000 watt power inverter in the back and welded in a rack in order to install tv monitors, sound board, additional power supplies, and other computer systems in order to do television production. We built a shelf around the back and the side and will mount another television screen to the side wall. Looking forward to installing a ladder and a roof rack with an additional shade. unnamed3.jpg

Today I put a 20$ grill from a 2007 on my 2002.
Note I tabbed up new emblem with a die cast transformers logo on aluminum plate with some bling:)

Thanks. Do they put out good light?

I have not had a chance to drive at night due to my schedule. But my in a quick parking lot check it seemed the low beam was marginally brighter than the hid bulbs they replaced .
The high beam was hugely different.
A much better high beam than the hid and a lot brighter.
I will try to take a night picture when I get a chance..

High beam

I do need to properly aim them but the high beams easily have more light and longer throw than the hid I took out.
I'll use the relay and harness from the hids eventually for a light bar.

This road is arched btw
