Would have been nice to travel without the trailers but since both Econolines run on Waste Veggie Oil it was a choice we made and it worked out fine. Hard to argue with free fuel! Plus, those oil containers turned out to make great fishing rod supports for the kids! We also made good use of the solar oven, love that thing!

We met a bunch of very cool people along the way, even got to spent the night at Jack's place right by Carlsbad Beach, he sure had an amazing yard with old Airstreams, and a big fire! lol

Stop for a visit at our friends at Agile and did the poser pic... ;)

And explored some of the deserts near San Diego

Cheers

They are the LED ones, mine are TruckLight but sold by Rigid Lights. My buddy with the green bus found some identical on ebay for $100, that's the way to go!

That looks like a great rig to start with. Dig the turtle top.
Interior standard passenger or camp setup? Nice van!!
Good looking ride. I know you're excited. 5.4?

Yeah I feel like it was a good find. It has the 5.4 V8 which runs strong and smooth. I was able to snatch it up in time, the guy selling said there was basically a line of people behind me.

the interior was setup with 6 large leather captains chairs, kind of like an executive transport bus. Ill be keeping 2 of them and then putting the bed i built for my last minivan in the back for now. For the meantime ill be more focused on using it than building it. the ultimate goal is to have something that comfortably transports 4 people and bikes/gear, and then can sleep 2 regularly, or 4 if we need to with a bunkbed setup in the back.
