Here's a couple shots taken from the Hole-In-The-Rock location. This one was taken on 3 May 1993, 22 years ago:

And this one was taken a couple weeks ago, 11 May 2015. Doesn't seem to be much different. There was a big houseboat parked in one of the coves.

Don't kid yourselves, the reservoir is at 44% full capacity or 110' from full pool. The lake level in 1993 was ~45' lower than it is today. http://www.usbr.gov/uc/water/crsp/cs/gcd.html

These pics are misleading as they are taken where the lake is deep in the old river channel. Expect the side canyons to be totally different. The good news is Lake Powell is in way better shape than Lake Meade and the inflow right now is actually decent atm because of a wet May.

This is a not so great pic of my 1990 Mitsubishi L300 Delica.
Since I cooked the original 4D56T 600km from home after picking her up from the gold coast, it now has a brand new Hyundai D4BF
turbo diesel that run's like a dream I couldn't be happier with it. Took three day's to swap out.
It sits on 31X10.5R15 ******** Cepek Fun Country's their great boots with black powder-coated original rims.
This weekend I'm installing 75W HID HI/LOW's as the original lamps suck.
And searching for the parts needed for front and rear locker install.
I've started to build an interest in Volvo C303's for the pure off road performance the delica lacks, so that could be a future project fingers crossed.
But I'll always love my L300.
Cheers,
Hoff.

Might need to steal that idea... ;)

Here's a thought in trade... Type 3 Ambulances have a heavy bungie running from the outer lower corner up at a +/- 45 deg... Unhooked it runs to the bumper to ensure the door stays open rather than being closed suddenly by a wind gust (Potentially spilling scalding hot dinner on your lap).

Combine that stove setup with the awning that came across the back of mine, and I'd have an instant popup kitchen... Especially if I had one on each door... :D

Loaded up for a biking trip with my wife in BC this week...
My daughter was "helping" me load up and she was pretty happy to be playing in the van.

We have been using the "Campulance" a lot. We did the bungie idea and went from the handle just below the window (silver) and went to the fender well. holds it nice and tight as well as gives me a way to keep the table down and secure while moving.

What a stunning place and the van performed flawlessly for 6 days / 5 nights in the Maze District of Canyonlands.

Taking a little rest from the sun at a local Van-in Camp-out event this weekend, good time!
