I posted earlier in the thread about my new Trail Kitchens chuckbox, but I have it mounted better now.
I had to get longer rails from Jerry at Tembo Tusk to allow the fridge slide to come out further to allow the boxes door/table to drop down and clear the side of the rig.
Only drawback to the longer rails is they have to protrude into the cargo area, but no problem.
That space between the rails I can fit my 60 and 73 liter Alu-Boxes perfectly stacked on top of each other.
I even have room to have a Blue Ridge Chair Works chair tucked inside of the rail too.
This pic here though only shows the 42 liter box there as a test fit.
The two camp tables are on the outside of the rail, and strapped to the side of the fridge.
Here are three new pics from last week of the chuckbox after putting in the longer rails.
I realize the stove sits up high, and if I can extend the legs on the bottom of the stove a few inches it will clear the latch for the door, I can then put the stove on top of the drop down door/table, and use it there.
Or I can just setup a camp table and put the stove on it.
But it is nice having the option to leave the chuckbox in the rig.
And I am almost sure that I can run the old wood chuckbox this way too, but I have not tried it for clearance yet since the top raises up pretty high, it may hit the awning when opened up.
