Nice build, but from personal experience. That 500 lbs base weight is going to bite you in the ******** if you drive a steep side hill. Once you load it with gear, man your going to be very TIPPY. I should point out, should you ever lay it over againt a canyon wall it will help keep the body damage down to a minimum. Ask me how I know!


None the less. It is a nice rack.

The base weight of the rack is 98 pounds. And the stock rack I took off was 25 pounds. I have only added 73 pounds. What I was saying about the 500 pounds is that is how much weight this rack can hold.
