I am inmate #88 on ADVrider.
I remember back in 2001 getting an invitation to join.
I was using Micapeak at the time to communicate with like minded GS riders.
Chris posted about ADVrider and invites all of us to join.
At the time, nothing like it existed.
And, I'm happy to say, that even today, nothing like it exists on the web.
I've spent some time with Chris at an ADV rally, he is well worth listening to.

I joined ADVrider in 2011 and I don't even ride! I joined for the great reads and travel info. An excellent site with some very interesting inmates.

Enjoyed listening to this last month. Definitely worth a listen.

ADVrider and Expedition Portal have both been great resources for me and many people.

I have been listening to this long before even own adventure bike, a lot of what they talked about also goes for overland travel with vehicles as far as long distance traveled border crossings and so on. I now have a KLR in a thoroughly enjoy listening to the rider skills episodes
