Possible alternate super single tyre?

Thanks SkiFreak. Hopefully not too bad at 4495Kg GVM though? remembering I only need this stupidly high wheel and tyre rating because of our ridiculous rules where my rear axle must be rated just 15Kgs under my entire GVM!
Perhaps they know i'm going to try doing wheelies? :D

Just a thought..... If a 6000kg GVM is reduced to 4495kg aprox 25% reduction. Maybe the axle ratings should also be reduced 25%
If so should it be noted on the "modification plate"

Would track be an issue with a reduced offset?

The wheel track of off-road four wheel drive vehicles and goods vehicles (MC, NA, NB ADR category) must not be increased by more than 50mm beyond the maximum specified by the vehicle manufacturer for the particular model.

If the offset is reduced to 105mm from 135mm wouldn't that increase the track by 60mm on the front and no longer be legal ?

Besides increased wear on the bearings, is there any other issues with leaving the offset stock? Bearings seem to go for ~$50 so not too expensive to replace?

My head is starting to hurt.

I am thinking that someone like John could possibly give more insight on this issue, given that he was heavily involved with getting the ATW singles certified.

Ok. Distance from middle of wheel to "inside" of disc is 120mm , the disc is 21mm thick, so 141mm to the outside. That should bring the front wheel out slightly and the rear wheel should be in about the same spot because the stock wheels are ~10mm thick?

Or am I confused? (quite likely)

I've been quoted ~$450 for an engineer to provide a modification plate and a new tyre placard for the 17.5 or 19.5 wheels. Has anyone done this before? does the price seem reasonable? The load rating for the rear axle will remain at 4480KG, only the size of wheel is changing. I want to go this way rather than lower rated 16s or 17s so if we go back to 6T GVM it should be relatively pain free.

Hi don't know if this helps but I unloaded a truck at work today and it was a Isuzu NPR 450 it had 225/70r 19.5 tubeless on it from factory. I think the tyres where Michelin XZE .
