Can you share the location? Got back from there 3 weeks ago looking for just that kind of camping spot in OR. Had to continue to California Gold Bluffs campground for beach camping.
Nice set up... in typical before 11:00 AM time frame , fog and mist. (Based on the last 15 years of visits...)

Sand Lake OHV Area. Between Tillamook and Pacific City.
There are quads on the beach but folks were (almost all) cool giving us wide berth.
We went across the dune, down to the beach and right as far as we could to be out of the way.
Best nights sleep I've had camping in a while!

Thanks, I stayed in the town of Tillamook Campground apparently a fishing campground for the locals. Nice place, didn't realize I was so close...Next year...had the GSA next time will be the Jeep. Thanks again.
