I was just camping in that neck of the woods July 4th. First sleep outdoors for the 9 month old. Hot during the days (90) and cold at night (45) but loved it. Beautiful country.

That is when we were there too. Cool.
Camped at Breitenbush Lake and the photo was closer to Olallie Lake.

After a few years looking around in here from time to time while finding ideas to use on my trailer build, I thought it was about time I signed up and shared some of my pics with you all.

This is my trailer that I built to tow with my Suzuki Jimny.
For those that don’t know, the Jimny has a 1.3L engine with a huge 350kg (770lbs) un-braked towing capacity.
My trailer fully loaded weighed in right on that limit in these photos.

With electric brakes on the trailer the Jimny towing capacity goes up to 1300kg (~2800lbs).
So I fitted a set of 10 inch electric brakes. Along with shockies, a solid lid, luggage pod, fridge, solar panel and a 200ah battery system.

I just happened to get a shot crossing the same creek with the new mods completed. ;)

Now we've just recently picked up a 2012 JK and I'm about to start working on some major mods to the trailer to take advantage of the power increase.
It will be a complete strip-down and rebuild, so I'll start a build thread soon.
I just need to get a few more parts sorted before I start pulling it apart ready for the next phase.

Looking forward to hanging out in here with all you like minded people in here.

I can officially post in here, because the trailer was hooked up to the truck for 20 minutes and pulled (100 feet) But dangit I still did it!
