M416 and FJ

When I first got it:


after stripping all of the peeling paint, and converting the rust, put herculiner on the bed, and sprayed enamel:


I also replaced a bent c-shackle.


Soon, I'm going to fab a hinged lid with a rack, install some latches for the tailgate, and keep it packed and ready for instant getaway!

I'll eventually swap the axle so I can share the spare with the Toyota. It also needs a better landing leg.

And what are you referring to? Your response appears to be a slight on "old blue" and I really don't think that is what you meant.

The build of this trailer is under Skersfan shuttle Pod, but the name ended up being Ouray Base Camp, working on getting ready to sell them and be a vendor on the site. Still working on the website, as that is the main hurdle.

Since we are going to have it on display at Overland Expo in May I figured I better not use the old Astro Turf outdoor carpet I have used for years. :xxrotflma:jump:

'Way to go! Practicality wins hands down all of the time. We just got an M416 trailer in good shape, and the Queen bought me an Ironman4x4 roof top tent and awning, and I'm looking at all of the different setups for ideas to put something together. The table with the folding legs is great!

Dirty Baker, any trailer, regardless of pedigree gets two thumbs up when the photo shows it in use. An AT parked on the driveway doesnt even come close.
